I recently had to reset my Lenovo laptop after getting a couple of trojans from a USB drive my friend gave me. One of them was a keylogger, which freaked me out! Now that I've reset my laptop, the TouchPad isn't working, and I'm stuck using a mouse to navigate. I'm wondering if it's possible that the virus caused permanent damage, even after the reset, or if it could just be a hardware issue. Additionally, I'm having trouble connecting to Wi-Fi because I can't even see the network icon. Should I take my laptop in for repairs, or are there things I can try at home? Any advice would be appreciated!

It sounds like you might need to install the right drivers for your TouchPad and Wi-Fi from Lenovo's support page. If you can connect your laptop to your router using an Ethernet cable, you can download the drivers directly. If not, maybe grab them on a phone and transfer them over. That might fix everything!

Thanks for the tip! I was worried it was a malware issue, but I’ll definitely give downloading the drivers a shot.
