Why isn't my Windows 11 SATA SSD recognized by CachyOS?

Hey everyone! I've recently installed CachyOS on a separate NVMe drive and I've been loving it. However, I need Windows 11 for a couple of anti-cheat games, and I'm facing an issue where my SATA SSD that's supposed to have Windows installed isn't being recognized. During the installation, I chose to use Limine as my bootloader and followed some advice to disconnect any Windows-related storage. Here's what I've tried so far: I've updated the BIOS, checked if the drives are properly connected (more than once!), and I've watched tons of YouTube videos to try and solve this. I do have another NVMe that appears in GParted, but my SATA SSD with Windows isn't showing up. I'd really appreciate any help, and thanks for your patience if I ask a lot of questions or repeat some things!

It sounds like you're in a bit of a bind! Just to clarify, it seems like you have a dual boot setup but Limine isn’t recognizing Windows? Try booting into CachyOS and running this command in your terminal: `sudo limine-entry-tool --scan`. It might help pick up the Windows partition. Just a heads-up, I would recommend trying a more user-friendly Linux distro next time, especially if you're still getting familiar with Linux—Arch-based systems can be tricky! Good luck!

Totally get where you're coming from! Starting with a rolling release like Cachy can be tough, but it's all about learning. Thanks for the heads-up on the command! Definitely take it step by step. If you still don’t see your Windows option after running that command, it may mean the drive isn’t properly connected or recognized by the BIOS settings either.
