Why won’t my 12V 2×6 PSU cable fit into my GPU?

Hey everyone! I'm relatively new to PC building and just bought a GeForce 5080 GPU along with a Cooler Master MWE Gold 850 V3 PSU. I'm having trouble with the 12V 2x6 cable that came with the PSU. It has a 90-degree connector for the GPU, but it doesn't fit into the GPU header. The other end of the cable is 180 degrees and labeled "CM-PSU," which makes me think it should connect to the PSU instead. Is there a way for this cable to be reversible, or am I missing something? I couldn't find any information in the manual, so I would really appreciate any help!

It sounds like you might need to use an adapter to connect it properly. Those 90-degree connectors can be a bit tricky. Just make sure you double-check which end goes to the GPU and PSU! Sometimes the manuals don’t give clear guidance on that stuff.

Yeah, I ran into a similar issue. I ended up using the PCIe connectors instead, but be careful because you might need an additional adapter depending on your setup.
