Why Won’t My Displays Work After Upgrading My Motherboard and CPU?

I recently upgraded my PC with a new ASUS TUF Gaming Z790 motherboard and an i9-14900k CPU. The system powers on and all the lights are lit up, but I can't get any display signal. I was using a 3080ti graphics card, which was working fine before the upgrade. Can anyone offer suggestions on how to troubleshoot this issue?

First off, try plugging your display cable into the motherboard to check if the integrated graphics will show anything. If you get a signal, then it points to an issue with your GPU. In that case, make sure the Nvidia drivers are installed, check all your cables, and confirm that the GPU is seated properly in the PCIe slot. Don’t forget to check for any sagging of the graphics card too! If there’s still no display, then it could be a problem with the motherboard or CPU. You might want to clear the CMOS and disconnect any USB devices, plus double-check all your cables and RAM slots.
