I'm building a music library on my Hiby R4 and recently added a 128GB Samsung microSD card. More than 300 songs copied successfully, but three specific tracks refuse to transfer to the card. When I move the folder from my computer, the transfer freezes on one of those songs and Windows plays an error sound without showing a message. Trying to copy one of the files by itself can even crash File Explorer and briefly make the screen go black. The files play normally, their metadata appears fine, and downloading fresh copies produces the same result. They also copy freely between folders on my computer and to the player's internal storage. However, neither Windows nor the player's Android file manager can move them onto the microSD card. The filenames are short to moderately long, so excessive filename length doesn't seem to explain it. What could cause only these files to fail on the card?

A few things are worth checking first: does the problem start around 30–32GB of used space, and can you copy the affected tracks to another folder on the computer? Filename length could also cause issues, although that seems less likely if the names are fairly short. Since the same files work everywhere except this card, test the card itself with a utility such as H2testw or F3. A failing, counterfeit, or incorrectly formatted card can accept many files before hitting a bad area, which would explain why only certain transfers fail and why File Explorer is crashing.
The affected files copy normally between folders on the computer and to the player’s internal storage, but none of them can be written to the microSD card. Their filenames range from short to somewhat long, so filename length probably isn’t the cause.
