After leaving my Windows 11 PC unused for about three days, I came back and found that the Wi-Fi option had completely disappeared. Ethernet still works, and I can access the internet from the computer, but the network settings only show Bluetooth, VPN, Airplane mode, Night light, Accessibility, and Energy saver. My Wi-Fi network works normally on my other devices, and my game drivers are up to date. I'm not sure what caused the Wi-Fi adapter to vanish or how to restore it.

Since Ethernet is working, download the latest Wi-Fi driver from your computer or motherboard manufacturer’s support page and install it. Also check that the WLAN AutoConfig service is running by opening Services, finding WLAN AutoConfig, and setting it to start automatically. A Windows restart can also bring the adapter back if it temporarily failed.
First check whether your PC has a physical Wi-Fi switch, keyboard shortcut, or button that may have disabled the wireless adapter. If that isn’t the issue, open Device Manager and look under Network adapters. The Wi-Fi adapter may be disabled, missing, or listed with a warning icon. Right-click it and try enabling it, or uninstall the device and restart Windows so it can detect it again.
