I built a new PC with an ASUS ROG STRIX X870E-E GAMING WIFI motherboard and installed Windows 11, but Wi-Fi does not appear anywhere. I downloaded the motherboard's Wi-Fi drivers on another laptop, copied them to a USB drive, and tried installing them on the new PC. However, nothing seems to happen when I launch ASUSSetup from the USB, and I cannot get online through Ethernet either. Device Manager shows network-related devices with warning icons, but manually updating them from the downloaded driver folder did not find a suitable driver. Windows is currently in German, and I cannot change the language without an internet connection. What is the correct way to install the Wi-Fi driver manually, and is there anything else I should check?

Open Device Manager as administrator and find the Network Controller or any device with a yellow warning icon. Choose Update driver, select Browse my computer for drivers, point it to the extracted driver folder from the motherboard support page, and enable Include subfolders. If Windows still says it cannot find a driver, the package may not match the exact board revision or may not have been extracted properly. You can also try this for the other unknown devices.
Redownload the Wi-Fi driver from the official support page for the exact ROG STRIX X870E-E GAMING WIFI model. Make sure you select the Windows 11 version and use the Wi-Fi package rather than a different network or chipset driver. Extract the downloaded archive completely to the USB first, then run the installer from the extracted folder instead of trying to launch it inside the compressed file.
Before troubleshooting the software further, check that the two Wi-Fi antennas are screwed onto the motherboard’s rear antenna connectors. Also look in BIOS to make sure the onboard wireless device is enabled. If the wireless adapter is not listed in Device Manager at all, even as an unknown device, it could be disabled in BIOS or there could be a hardware or connection issue rather than just a missing driver.
