Will a Radeon RX 9060 XT Handle a 1440p Main Monitor and a 1080p Second Screen?

I currently use a 1080p monitor and want to add a 1440p monitor as my primary display, keeping the 1080p screen as a second monitor. My system has a Ryzen 5 14400F and 32GB of RAM, and I'm considering a Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB. For anyone using a similar setup, does the second monitor noticeably affect gaming performance or cause FPS to drop below 60? I'd mainly use the second display for manga, Discord, music, browsing, or occasionally looking up tutorials while the game is paused.

Running two monitors usually has very little impact on gaming performance. The second display may use some GPU resources if you run demanding video, animated wallpapers, or another graphics-heavy application on it, but normal browser tabs, Discord, music, or reading should be fine. For the best results, avoid running another intensive GPU workload while gaming.

That setup should be fine. I use a 1440p 180Hz main monitor alongside a 1080p 75Hz secondary display, and I don’t notice a performance difference during games. You’d mainly see an effect if the second monitor is also running something demanding enough to heavily load the GPU, CPU, or RAM.

That’s reassuring. I’ll mostly keep the second screen limited to Discord, reading, music, and occasional browsing rather than anything graphics-heavy.
