Hey everyone! I've been wondering why such a simple and essential feature like folders to organize chats is still missing from ChatGPT. Is there something specific that's holding it back?

Honestly, I totally feel you! I built a PyQt5 app specifically for this kind of organization. Just having folders and tags would make such a big difference, and it’s wild that it’s not in yet. I even thought about creating a marketing campaign just to push for that feature!

I hear you! Right now, we mostly just have a long list of chats. Being able to organize them in folders would be super useful. It’s kind of a head-scratcher why they haven’t implemented it yet!

There is a feature called 'Projects' that allows you to group different threads under one memory. It's not rolled out to everyone yet, and to be honest, it's still pretty basic. But they are working on it!
