I'm considering replacing Windows 11 with Linux Mint on my Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 15IAN8, which has an Intel Core i3-N305. Will the processor, graphics, memory, and built-in storage work properly, and is there anything I should check before installing?

Yes, it should run Linux Mint without any trouble. The hardware is modern enough, and Lenovo laptops generally work well with Linux.
Mint should be comfortable on that system. Cinnamon will probably run fine, but MATE or Xfce are good choices if you want to use fewer resources.
The laptop is more than powerful enough for Mint. Cinnamon already runs reasonably well on much older Intel laptops, so your i3-N305 should have plenty of headroom.
One thing worth checking is the soldered UFS storage. Some Linux installations may need UFS support included in the boot image before they can see the internal drive. It may work automatically with Mint, but testing the live USB first is a good idea. Since the storage is not upgradeable, using a compressed filesystem such as Btrfs or F2FS could also help reduce writes.
