I'm thinking about upgrading my graphics card from an RTX 3060 to an RTX 5070, but I have some concerns about whether my i5-13400F CPU will bottleneck the performance. I usually game at 1080p and have a Gigabyte B660 Gaming X motherboard with 16GB of DDR4 RAM (which I also plan to upgrade soon). I'd love to hear from anyone who has experience with this setup or just knows a lot about this kind of hardware. Thanks for any insights!

I've tried the same upgrade, going from a 3060 on a comparable CPU, and I've had no problems gaming at 1440p. Your CPU might limit you a bit at 1080p, but if you ever move to a 1440p monitor, you'll see better performance without those bottlenecks.
You should be fine! I had similar worries when I upgraded to a higher-end GPU, and it worked out without any issues. Gaming at 1080p with your setup should give you a smooth experience.

That's good to hear! Do you think upgrading my RAM might help this case even more?
