Will My PC Parts Work Together? Need Advice on Building My First PC!

I'm building my first PC and I'm wondering if these parts will all work together. I've listed my components below:

- GPU: RTX 2070 from my old computer (planning to upgrade later)
- CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- CPU cooler: Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120
- Motherboard: Gigabyte B650 Eagle AX
- Case: Corsair FRAME 4000D
- RAM: G.Skill Flare X5 2x16GB 6000MHz CL30

I also plan to use a 550W power supply from my old PC. Are there any compatibility issues or improvements you would recommend? Plus, I'm a bit nervous since it's my first time building a PC. Should I go for it, or is it too risky? Appreciate any advice you can offer!

Looks good to me! I usually recommend checking pcpartpicker.com for compatibility, but from what I've seen, everything should work together just fine.

I've built computers before, and trust me, if you're confident, just go for it! It's not as scary as it seems. Sure, you might mess up, but it's way better than putting together something complex like a helicopter!
Here's a tip: You might want to consider a newer B850 board instead of the B650. It's got some better features, and the price difference is often minimal. It’ll give you a bit more future-proofing.

Your parts look compatible, especially with that Ryzen 7 on a B650 board. A 550W PSU should work, but make sure it’s a solid one. For those nervous about building, just read up on guides, especially how to test the setup outside of the case. It's a lot of fun and pretty fulfilling once you get everything running!
