Will my PS5 cloud save still be available if my PlayStation Plus subscription expires?

My PS5 may be sold, and I might not get a replacement console for quite a while. I'm about halfway through Red Dead Redemption 2 and want to preserve my save so I can continue on another PS5 later. I understand that PlayStation Plus is required to upload saves to cloud storage, but I'm unsure what happens after the subscription expires. If I renew Plus when I eventually get another console, will my saved data still be there, or is it deleted after a certain amount of time?
