I just got an RTX 5060 Ti with 16GB of memory, but I went with a Ryzen 5500 since the Ryzen 5600 and its variants are always out of stock. I'm concerned about whether the Ryzen 5500 will hold back the performance of my GPU. Will I still get solid performance, or should I be worried about bottlenecking?

While the 5500 is similar in performance to the 3600, you'd definitely get better results with a 5600 or 5600X. But don't stress too much—running it with the 5500 won't ruin your experience. You might want to keep an eye out for a good deal on the 5600 if you're thinking of an upgrade later!
It really depends on a few factors, like the specific games you’re playing and the settings you're using. In general, though, the Ryzen 5500 might hold you back a bit, especially at higher settings.
Depends on what exactly? Are we talking specific settings or resolution?
If you're targeting 1080p on Ultra/High settings aiming for 165 fps, the Ryzen 5500 might struggle a bit. For 1440p, expect to dial down the settings to medium for around 60 fps. It really varies by title, though!

I might just sell off the 5500 and grab a used 5600X in a few months.
