Will RAM prices continue to rise, or is a drop possible soon?

I've been planning to build a PC for about six months, and initially, the price for 64GB of RAM was around $200. Now, it's skyrocketed to over $600. Given this situation, should I just buy 32GB right now as a backup in case prices keep climbing, or do you think there's a chance they will go down soon?

I wouldn't buy RAM at these inflated prices unless you absolutely need it. Current predictions are saying that it's likely to stay high into 2026, so if you can hold off, waiting might be a better choice.
