Will RAM prices continue to rise, or is a drop possible soon?

I've been planning to build a PC for about six months, and initially, the price for 64GB of RAM was around $200. Now, it's skyrocketed to over $600. Given this situation, should I just buy 32GB right now as a backup in case prices keep climbing, or do you think there's a chance they will go down soon?

I seriously think we’re looking at high prices for a long time. Companies like Amazon and Google are still ramping up their computer purchases, so the demand is there. We might need to consider alternative options if this trend continues.

It looks like RAM prices are set to remain high for a while. Companies are pushing for more production, but the trend doesn’t indicate any short-term relief in prices. If you really need RAM now, it might be wise to buy before it goes even higher.

Honestly, it's hard to say for sure if prices will keep increasing. The current market is influenced by a lot of long-term strategies from manufacturers, which means we could be stuck with high prices for a while.

I wouldn't buy RAM at these inflated prices unless you absolutely need it. Current predictions are saying that it's likely to stay high into 2026, so if you can hold off, waiting might be a better choice.
