Will These Parts Work Together for a $2,000 1440p Gaming PC?

I'm planning my first gaming PC and want to keep the total under $2,000. Several components are discounted through a bundle deal, and the estimated total is about $1,655 before tax:
- CPU: Ryzen 5 7600X — $160
- Motherboard: ASUS TUF Gaming B650E-Plus — $110
- CPU cooler: Cooler Master 240mm liquid cooler — included with the deal
- Memory: Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR5 — listed at $440
- Storage: Silicon Power 1TB SSD — listed at $160
- GPU: Radeon RX 9070 — $650
- Case: Montech TG3 ATX mid-tower — $65
- Power supply: Super Flower Zillion FG 850W Gold — $70
I plan to play at 1440p across a wide range of games, including demanding titles such as Baldur's Gate 3, Alan Wake 2, and Elden Ring. I'm hoping for roughly 120–150 FPS at decent settings where possible. Is that realistic with this build, and are all of these parts compatible? Is 32GB of DDR5 necessary, and are there any components I should reconsider?

At 1440p, the RX 9070 should be a strong match for this build and can deliver high frame rates in many games, though 120–150 FPS won’t be guaranteed in every demanding title. Alan Wake 2 and similarly intensive games may require upscaling or reduced settings, while the exact result will depend heavily on the game and whether ray tracing is enabled.

The main concern raised is the power supply. Wattage alone doesn’t determine quality, so it’s worth choosing a model with a stronger independent rating and better reviews rather than picking solely from a general build guide. An 850W unit is plenty for this system, but I’d spend a little more on a well-regarded B-tier-or-better model for reliability.
MapleOrbit47: What makes one PSU better than another besides wattage? I haven’t researched power supplies much and mostly chose this one from a guide.

32GB of DDR5 is a sensible choice for a modern gaming PC and should be enough for current games. However, double-check the listed memory price—$440 is unusually high for a 32GB kit and may be a pricing or bundle-entry mistake. The SSD price also seems worth verifying before ordering.
