I'm planning to build a new PC since my old laptop is really slow and struggles with my programming tasks. Here's what I have in mind for the components:
**CPU:** AMD Ryzen™ 7 5700X (8 cores, 16 threads, Zen 3, AM4);
**CPU Cooler:** be quiet! Dark Rock 5;
**Motherboard:** ASUS PRIME B550-PLUS (ATX, AM4, B550 chipset);
**GPU:** AMD Radeon™ RX 9060 XT OC with 16GB GDDR6;
**RAM:** Kingston FURY Renegade Black XMP, 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4, 3600MT/s, CL16;
**Storage:** Western Digital Black SN850X 2TB NVMe SSD;
**Case:** DeepCool CG580 4F Black;
**Power Supply:** Gigabyte UD750GM, 750W, 80+ Gold;
**Operating System:** Windows 11;
**Monitor:** 1440p.
Do you think this setup is powerful enough for programming in OpenGL?

This setup should be a huge upgrade from your laptop! You’ve got a solid build here for programming and general use. Good choice on the components!
One thing to consider is going for 32GB of RAM instead of 16GB if you plan on multitasking a lot with documentation and various programs open. The 5700X is a solid choice for a good balance of performance too!
They probably don’t want to drop $500+ on RAM right now.
I was planning to wait for RAM prices to drop, thanks for the input!

Thanks for the encouragement!
