Hey everyone! I'm new to the Apple scene and I recently upgraded from an iPhone 13 to an iPhone 15. When setting up the new phone, I saw an option to transfer my data from the old device. Before I go ahead and do that, I want to make sure that transferring my data won't wipe anything from my iPhone 13. I plan on making a backup just in case, but I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.

You’re in good hands! It won’t wipe your old iPhone automatically. You’ll get asked if you want to erase it, but you can just say no. All your stuff will stay intact on the old phone.
Nope, transferring your data won't delete anything from your iPhone 13. You'll have the option to keep it as is. Just make sure you choose not to erase it during the process!
No worries! Your data is duplicated during the transfer, but your old iPhone will function perfectly fine with all its data until you decide to wipe it later.
Rest easy, your data on the iPhone 13 will remain safe. Calls and messages will still come through unless you deactivate the service. It’s a handy way to keep using the old phone for things like iMessage over WiFi!
