Will Upgrading from RX 7900 XT to 5070 Ti Cause Any Issues?

I'm considering upgrading my graphics card from a Radeon RX 7900 XT to a 5070 Ti and wanted to know if this will create any problems, like a bottleneck. Here are my current specs: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, ASROCK B650 PG Lightning, and 32GB of DDR5 RAM running at 6000MHz. I'm using an 850W Corsair RM850e power supply. The reason for the upgrade is that I've been encountering frustrating driver timeout issues with AMD for the past few months, and I haven't been able to resolve them. Any insights would be appreciated!

Nvidia isn't without its problems either! I think you're lucky if your 7900 XT works well with all versions of the Adrenaline driver, but I get where you're coming from. The 5070 Ti should pair nicely with your build, though.

Totally! It’s great that your setup runs smoothly. Just wanted to make sure I'm not making a mistake going with Nvidia.

Honestly, your 7900 XT is still a great card. It might be worth waiting for a more significant upgrade in the future. Keep reaching out—there’s a good chance someone has a fix for those driver issues! You're not alone in this.

I appreciate the advice! The card is awesome when it works, but the crashes are super frustrating. I’ll keep looking for a solution!

No worries about bottlenecks here! The 5070 Ti won't be a massive leap in performance over your 7900 XT, but it should still work fine. Just a heads-up, the performance increase might not be that noticeable. If driver issues are your main concern, this could be a solid move.

Yeah, I'm definitely just looking to escape the driver timeout problem. Tried fixing it for months! Thanks for the input!
