I recently bought a Monster Abra A7 15.6-inch gaming laptop that came with FreeDOS. After installing Windows 11 Home, I allowed Windows Update to install its updates and then installed the chipset and other drivers from Monster's official support site. However, the touchpad does not work at all, and Windows does not detect it as a device. The touchpad itself appears to function because I can use it in the BIOS. Are there any BIOS settings, drivers, or other fixes I should try to get it working in Windows?

Since it works in the BIOS, the hardware is probably fine. Check Device Manager for an unknown device or an I2C HID device, and install the laptop's exact Serial IO, chipset, and touchpad drivers from the manufacturer's support page. Also check whether the touchpad is disabled by a keyboard function key or in Windows Settings under Bluetooth & devices > Touchpad.
There don't seem to be any touchpad-related options in the BIOS. The laptop recognizes and lets me use the touchpad there, but Windows does not show it at all.
