Since a recent Windows 11 update, my PC no longer recognizes my Samsung 990 Pro 2 TB SSD. Samsung Magician cannot detect it either, and Windows reports a SCSI adapter Code 10 error. I have already restarted the computer, tried updating the storage driver, reinstalled the driver, and rolled back the Windows update, but the problem remains. The system uses an MSI MPG Z690 Force WiFi motherboard. What should I check next?

Make sure the correct chipset and storage drivers for the MPG Z690 Force WiFi are installed from the motherboard manufacturer's support page. A Windows update can sometimes replace or disrupt storage-related drivers, even if the system worked normally before.
Since rolling back the update did not help, check whether the SSD is detected in the BIOS/UEFI. If it is missing there too, shut the PC down and reseat the M.2 drive, verify its slot and mounting, and check for a motherboard BIOS update. If BIOS sees it but Windows and Samsung Magician do not, the issue is more likely related to Windows storage drivers or disk configuration.
