Windows 11 partially freezes after boot on Asus TUF F15 FX507VV

My Asus TUF Gaming F15 FX507VV has recently started partially freezing shortly after booting into Windows 11. The mouse cursor still moves and the taskbar clock continues updating, but mouse clicks, the built-in keyboard, and all applications stop responding. On a few occasions, clicking caused the display to go black briefly while the open applications remained visible afterward. I have not tested Safe Mode yet. A single forced shutdown with the power button usually fixes the problem, and the laptop works normally after starting it again. Has anyone encountered this on the FX507VV or Windows 11, and what troubleshooting steps should I try?

There was no confirmed fix in the discussion, but the behavior sounds like a Windows or graphics-driver hang rather than a complete power failure, since the cursor and clock keep updating. Safe Mode would be a useful first test. If the issue does not occur there, try reinstalling or rolling back the display and chipset drivers, disabling Fast Startup, and checking Event Viewer after the next occurrence for graphics or system errors.

I haven't tried Safe Mode yet. The keyboard and mouse clicks become completely unresponsive, although the screen has occasionally gone black and then returned with the open programs still visible. After one forced shutdown, everything normally works again.
