My HP printer no longer works correctly on either of my two Windows 11 laptops. It worked normally a few months ago, but now the option for double-sided printing is missing, and print jobs come out in reverse page order. I suspect a recent Windows update may have replaced or conflicted with the printer software or driver. HP's support articles also aren't loading for me in Google. Should I reinstall the printer driver, and if so, where can I safely get the correct one?

Windows Update can sometimes replace a working printer driver with a generic or incompatible version. Try downloading the exact driver and software package for your printer model from HP’s official support website, using the Windows 11 version for your system. Remove the existing printer and its old driver first if necessary, then restart the computer and install the downloaded package. This may restore options such as duplex printing and correct page ordering.
