Windows Start Menu Turns Black and Stops Loading After MSI Patcher Crash

After the MSI Pushcast patcher crashed, my Windows Start menu stopped working properly. It often appears as a black panel and fails to load apps. I've already tried PowerShell repairs, system scans, resetting affected apps, reinstalling Windows while keeping my programs, and reinstalling my graphics drivers. Pressing Win+Ctrl+Shift+B temporarily fixes it once, but the problem quickly returns. I'm running out of ideas—what else could be causing this?

One suggestion was to run DxDiag, identify your network adapter, and install a stable driver for it. That said, this connection isn’t obvious because the symptoms appeared after the patcher crash and everything else seems to work normally.

I’m not sure how a network driver would affect the Start menu when the rest of the system is functioning normally. Is there a specific reason to suspect the network adapter?
