My computer displays "Your device ran into a problem and couldn't be repaired," followed by an option to view recovery settings and a message saying it couldn't connect to the network. The recovery screen also lists C:WindowsSystem32LogfilesSrtSrtTrail.txt. I tried reinstalling Windows from the troubleshooting options, but the same problem remains, and I can't boot into Safe Mode. Was this a full clean installation, or could the existing partitions, boot files, or storage drive still be causing the issue?

The built-in recovery reinstall may not be the same as a clean installation. Create Windows installation media on a USB from another computer, boot from that USB, and choose a custom install. Back up anything important first, then remove the partitions on the Windows drive and install to the resulting unallocated space. The SrtTrail.txt message is usually just a report from Automatic Repair, not the actual cause. If a truly clean install still fails, check the drive’s health and run the computer’s memory and hardware diagnostics, since a failing SSD or RAM can repeatedly corrupt Windows.
I only reinstalled through the recovery options shown on that screen, so I haven’t tried wiping the drive and installing from USB. I’ll check the storage and memory diagnostics as well.
