My Glorious Model O mouse suddenly started flickering and jumping across my three monitors today. After restarting the computer, cleaning the mouse, and changing pointer settings such as Enhance Pointer Precision and Snap To, it now teleports roughly 80% of the time whenever I click something, making the PC nearly unusable.
The mouse is wired. I tested it on a friend's computer and clicked around about 50 times without seeing the problem, so the mouse seems less likely to be faulty. I also have Corsair iCUE installed for a controller, although the controller was switched off when the issue began. I later removed iCUE and reset Windows while keeping my personal files. Nothing new was connected, and I'm not aware of any recent updates. Could this be a USB, driver, or other hardware problem with my PC, and what should I test next?

Model O mice have occasionally developed cable or internal connection problems that cause cutouts and strange cursor movement. The fact that it worked on another PC is encouraging, but it does not completely clear the mouse. Test another known-good mouse on your PC and leave the Model O connected to the other computer for a while; those two tests should show whether the fault follows the mouse or stays with the PC.
This could be an intermittent USB fault rather than a pointer setting. Check Device Manager for USB or HID errors, reinstall the mouse and USB controller devices, and disable USB selective suspend or power-saving options. A clean boot can help determine whether iCUE or another background utility is injecting mouse input.
Since it worked normally on another computer, start by ruling out the USB connection and anything else attached to the PC. Try every USB port, especially a rear motherboard port instead of a front-panel hub, and unplug the controller and other nonessential USB devices. A damaged cable or mouse can sometimes behave normally briefly on one machine, so testing it for longer would also be useful.
