I'm considering upgrading to a 300Hz-or-faster OLED monitor, but I'm not sure whether my current system can consistently reach those frame rates. Since I play at low settings and these games can be CPU-limited, would a Ryzen 5 5500X3D provide a noticeable improvement in average FPS and 1% lows, or would I be better off saving for a larger upgrade?
