I've been trying to install and start Zorin OS for several hours. The installation appears to finish normally, but when I restart the computer it goes straight into the BIOS instead of booting Zorin. The only way I can get back to it is by plugging in the USB installer, which then offers to install Zorin again. What BIOS or boot settings should I check to make the installed system boot from the internal drive?

If there is no Zorin or Linux entry in the boot menu, the bootloader may have been installed to the wrong disk or the installation may have used a different boot mode than the firmware. Check that the system is consistently using UEFI mode and reinstall the bootloader to the computer’s internal drive, not the USB stick.
Remove the USB installer before restarting. Otherwise the computer may keep booting into the installer instead of the installed system. In the firmware settings, set the internal drive—or its Zorin/Linux boot entry—as the first boot device.
Open the BIOS or UEFI boot menu and check whether the Linux or Zorin boot entry appears. If it does, move it to the top of the boot order and save the changes. Also make sure you’re selecting the drive where Zorin was actually installed.
