Looking for Advice on My PC Upgrade

Hey everyone! I'm gearing up to upgrade some parts in my PC, and I could really use your insights. I'm using the PCPartPicker website to check the compatibility of my new components and wanted a second opinion. Currently, I'm looking to replace my Intel Core i7-6700k processor and Asus ROG MAXIMUS VII HERO motherboard in my NZXT Noctis 450 mid-tower case. I'm planning to upgrade to an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, paired with the MSI MAG B550 TOMAHAWK MAX motherboard, and I'll be using the Fractal Design Pop XL Air for the new case. If you need to see my complete list of components, here it is: [PCPartPicker List](https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/2c2hNz).

Since this is my first time building a PC on my own (my friend helped me with the previous one), any tips or advice you could give would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

It sounds like a solid upgrade! Can you share your budget and what you're aiming for with this build? That’ll help everyone give you better advice.

Oh yeah, I should’ve mentioned—I’m replacing a Core i7-6700k and just trying to future-proof my setup a bit!
