LCD Character Display Simulator

Character LCD modules like 16×2 and 20×4 displays are popular in embedded systems, Arduino projects, sensors and control panels. But space is limited, so long text may wrap or get cut off unexpectedly. Being able to test text before uploading code helps prevent display bugs and wasted time flashing firmware repeatedly.

This Character LCD Previewer lets you input text and preview how it will appear on a fixed width LCD. You can choose display size, view line layout and check whether the content fits the available character space. Perfect for microcontroller prototyping, menu design and user interface planning.

LCD displays require careful text planning, especially when building menus, sensor readouts, UI labels or dynamic system messages. This previewer shows how a message will look before deployment, allowing you to adjust spacing, abbreviations and line breaks for a cleaner and more readable layout.

This tool is useful for electronics engineers, makers and students who are building hardware interfaces where space is limited. Preview your text, adjust, optimise and then send it to your microcontroller with confidence.
