I'm currently using an 11th gen Intel Core i5-11400 @ 2.60GHz, and I want to upgrade my CPU without having to swap out my motherboard. To be honest, I'm a bit out of touch with all the latest tech, so I'm looking for some solid advice. If replacing the motherboard is the best route, though, I understand I'll have to upgrade my power supply and RAM as well. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Going for an AM5 setup might be a good call, especially if you're not using the integrated GPU. You'll get better performance from newer CPUs. Just consider if your current setup can handle it.
I'm not on the iGPU; I've got an AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT.
