I didn't buy my Windows 11 laptop or set it up, but I noticed it won't connect to WiFi without a Netgear AC1200 Wi-Fi USB Adapter (model A6150-100PAS) plugged in. When the adapter isn't connected, I only see a "No Network" icon and a grayed-out airplane mode. I'm looking for some insight on why this is happening and if there's a way to fix it. The original owner isn't available to ask, but I know the USB adapter wasn't used initially. Any help or advice would be appreciated!

It’s possible that your laptop's WiFi chip is malfunctioning or, even more likely, it doesn’t have the correct drivers installed for the built-in WiFi. Without proper drivers, the laptop could be unable to detect any wireless networks, which is why you're seeing that error.
