Hey everyone! I'm in the process of installing an NVMe SSD, but I ran into a bit of a snag. One of the screws that came with the SSD looked odd and now I'm stuck. I think the SSD needs to fit between a black screw and a standoff, but both components came out together and I can't seem to unscrew them from each other. Am I missing something here? Also, for context, I'm working with a Lenovo T5 prebuilt PC. Thanks for any help!

It sounds like both the screw and the standoff are stuck together. The standoff is designed with threads on both ends—one side screws into the motherboard while the other holds the SSD in place. You should be able to separate them. Just remember, the SSD goes on top of the standoff, and then you secure them with the screw on top.
To separate them, try gripping the bottom of the standoff with pliers to hold it firmly in place, then unscrew the top screw. That should allow you to remove it and securely install your SSD.
If you need to share a picture of the screw for clarity, you can upload it to imgur.com and then include the link in your post. It makes it easier for folks to help you out!
