Using Cachyos on an Older NVIDIA GPU: What’s the Experience Like?

I'm using a 2013 iMac with an NVIDIA 755M GPU, which is stuck at the 470xx driver version. I'm curious about whether the overall experience with Cachyos for gaming, coding, and regular desktop use would be good compared to macOS and Windows.

I've had great performance on older hardware with some tweaks! Just keep in mind that while the experience won’t be cutting-edge, if you’re running lighter games or tasks, you might still manage decent performance. It's all about managing expectations.

That’s true! I get like 100+ fps in most games on Windows with similar specs. It depends a lot on the game and settings you choose.

Honestly, with those old drivers and GPU, I don't expect the experience to be great. You might find it somewhat similar to what you get on macOS and Windows, but don't expect anything too amazing. It could be a bit laggy, especially with newer software demands.
