I've run out of space on my C drive, but my D drive has plenty of room. I'm looking for the best way to either transfer storage from my D drive to my C drive or safely move my files from C to D. Any tips would be appreciated!

To move files from your C drive to your D drive, just go to your C drive, select the files you want to move, and press CTRL + X to cut them. Then go to your D drive, click where you want them to go, and press CTRL + V to paste. This method frees up space on your C drive as you move the files. Just remember, this won't work for everything. Some applications may not function properly if you just move their files, so keep that in mind!
Be careful with programs! You often need to uninstall them from C and then reinstall on D to ensure they work correctly. For things like games from Steam, you can configure it to install directly on D. Personal files like documents and photos? Those can be easily copy/pasted without issues.
