I accidentally spilled some water on the cord of my MagSafe charger for my MacBook while it was on my nightstand. Fortunately, it wasn't plugged in at the time. The connector ends are completely dry, but the wire itself got splashed, particularly the woven fabric sheath. I'm worried about whether the charger is now unusable or if it's safe to continue using it after drying it off.

If it's just the wire that's damp, you should be okay. Wires are generally resilient and can handle some moisture, especially if it wasn't plugged in when it got wet. Just dry it off thoroughly and give it some time to air out before trying to use it again.
I think you’re worrying a bit too much! As long as the charger wasn't connected to power, it should be fine. Make sure the fabric sheath is dry before using it again, but it likely won't cause any issues.
