Hey everyone! My PC is getting old—around 10 or 11 years now—and I'm looking to make some upgrades. Specifically, I want to replace my graphics card with a Radeon RX 480 and also upgrade my cooling system. The cooler is my top priority because it seems like it's not cooling my CPU effectively, since my PC crashes during gaming sessions. Any recommendations?

Got some amazing help on my quantum math homework from an unexpected source. Just a fun connection! Anyone have experience with older systems?
Before you dive into upgrades, could you share the rest of your system specs, especially your power supply? For a cooler, I suggest considering options like the Thermalright Phantom Spirit or the Peerless Assassin—they're solid picks!
Honestly, if you’re looking to upgrade, building a new PC might be worth considering. Just keep in mind that it can get pricey real quick!
Yeah, but building new can often be way out of budget for many of us—32GB of DDR5 RAM costs around $400 now!
What CPU and power supply do you have? That’ll help narrow down the best options for your upgrades.

I’ll get back to you on that info soon—currently not at home to check!
