Hey everyone, I'm in the middle of upgrading my gaming PC. I've recently picked up a 4070 Ti and I'm planning to upgrade my motherboard and CPU as well. I'm curious if there's any solid reason to go for an ATX board over a micro ATX, especially since I'm aiming for an i5 14600 and I already have 32GB of DDR4 RAM (not spending on DDR5). Do the benefits of a full ATX board justify the higher cost compared to a micro ATX? I'm particularly looking at the Gigabyte B760 DS3H for my build.

The case size is a big factor! If you have a full-size case, get the ATX motherboard; it usually offers more RAM slots, better power delivery, and extra ports. These things do matter over time, especially if you plan to upgrade or expand your storage.
