My 1080ti is starting to fail on me, so I need to find a new graphics card. The timing isn't great with prices going up, but I have to work with what I have. I'm aiming to keep my spending under £500 and want a GPU that's at least as powerful as my current one. I'm open to both new and used options, so I'd love to hear any recommendations!

The UK market right now has some solid options. For used cards, you might want to check out a 4070ti or a 5070, maybe even a 9070XT if you can find a good deal. If you prefer new, you could get a Palit 5070 for around £550, but that’s just a bit over your budget. Otherwise, look into the 5060Ti or 9060XT. They should perform well for you!
Definitely consider the 5060ti 16GB model; it might be just under your budget. I’m unsure about the exact pricing in the UK, but it should be pretty close! Just be aware that the used 40 series are quite overpriced nowadays.
If you can stretch your budget a wee bit by £10, the 5070 looks like a fantastic option. You can find it at a decent price here: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/pny-geforce-rtx-5070-triple-fan-12gb-gddr7-pci-express-graphics-card-gra-pny-06260.html. There’s also a 9070 XT listed for £580 which is a smidge over your budget but might be worth it!
Another option is a used 7900xt, which can be found on eBay. It might fit your needs nicely!
If you're open to used options, I’d say a base 4070 is a great upgrade. You can find them for under £450, which is a steal right now!
