My new PC won’t power on, what should I do?

I need some help with my new PC build. The RGB lighting is on, but when I press the power button on the power supply, nothing happens. There's also an extra cable that's unconnected and I'm not sure where it should go. Could that be causing the issue? If it helps, I can share a link to my PC part list.

It sounds like the floating cable you mentioned might be important. If it’s the cable from the CPU cooler, you should plug it into the CPU fan header on the motherboard. That's usually at the top—there's typically a white one and a black one; go for the black one below the white part.

Great, thanks for the tip! Should I connect it to the black header below the white one?
