I recently experienced a frustrating issue where my user account on my Windows desktop seems to have been deleted, and now it feels like everything has been reset. I can see that the data from my original account, like shortcuts on my desktop, is still present in my files. However, when I attempt to access the account labeled as "Owner," it doesn't show any of my shortcuts, and the account settings page in Windows is completely blank. If anyone has suggestions on how to resolve this, I would greatly appreciate it!

It sounds like you're being logged into a temporary profile. You might want to check your registry settings. Renaming the temporary profile could fix this issue, and there are some good tutorials online that can guide you through that process. Good luck!
When you log in, do you see a message indicating that you're logged into a temporary profile? That could be a clue as to what's happening here. If that's the case, you'll need to dig into some settings to get your original profile back.
