I'm curious about people's experiences with shopping using AI tools. I've tried using ChatGPT and a few others to help me find items, but I've mostly encountered issues like incorrect prices, weird links, or just not getting the right recommendations. Has anyone actually successfully used AI to shop for something? What prompts worked for you? I'm hoping it can be useful, but so far it feels like more hassle than it's worth. I really think shopping should be a more visual experience rather than just chatting with an interface.

I've tried using Deep Research for shopping a few times, and I actually found it surprisingly helpful twice, while once it fell short. It's worth giving it a shot!
For high-stakes purchases, I would recommend using Deep Research rather than solely relying on ChatGPT. I've found it a bit more reliable in such cases.
I’ve bought tons of products, especially skincare, through AI. One time, I compiled a whole list to set up for a new pet; it worked out great!
I bought some Stance socks based on a recommendation from ChatGPT, and honestly, they're quite good! If you're in the market for socks, I can vouch for them!
I got some Stance socks too, but I found them at a local outdoor shop. Totally agree, they’re great quality and come in nice colors!
