I'm considering swapping my current 4070 for a new 5070, which would cost me about $50 after tax. Alternatively, I could get a used 4070 Ti super for roughly $200 with no tax. I'm weighing my options and would love to hear what everyone thinks I should do!

The 4070 Ti super is generally about 10-15% faster than the 5070 in certain games. If you can snag the Ti for $200 with no tax, that’s a solid option. But if the total cost for the 5070 is only $200 after everything, it might be worth it since it’s a newer generation with better architecture and features like multi-frame generation. Personally, I’d lean toward the 5070 if it means just a bit more for a newer tech.
Check out the performance comparison on that TechPowerUp link. It gives you a good idea of how the GPUs stack up against each other. Might help you decide if the performance boost is worth the extra cash!
Yeah, I’ve seen that! Just curious about your personal take on it.
Good point—I'll keep that in mind. Just updated my post to clarify that the 4070 Ti is used and no tax.
