I'm using a Vivobook 15 that has an Intel Core i3 8th Gen processor with Intel UHD 620 graphics and 8GB of RAM (two 4GB sticks). I heard I can remove one of the 4GB sticks and replace it with a 16GB stick, bringing my total RAM to 20GB. I'm curious if this upgrade would be beneficial and if I'd notice a performance boost. By the way, I've been using Linux more often rather than Windows lately.

Yes.
Yeah, 16GB is a solid choice for Windows 11 too! I thought about maxing it out myself, but my friend advised against it since it might be overkill for what I use it for.
Definitely go for that extra 16GB stick! Just make sure to find it at a good price online. Can I ask what stick you're considering?
