I currently have an AMD Ryzen 3 2200G system, but its 223 GB of storage is almost too small. I'd also like to run demanding software such as Blender and play newer games more smoothly. Would it be cheaper and more practical to upgrade the existing computer, or should I replace it entirely?

The storage problem can be solved separately by adding a larger SSD, assuming you have an available slot or SATA port. For Blender and demanding games, though, the biggest performance gains will usually come from upgrading the processor, graphics card, and possibly the RAM.
You may not need a completely new computer. First check the motherboard, power supply, RAM, and whether you already have a dedicated graphics card. Those parts will determine which upgrades are safe and worthwhile. You can use HWiNFO in “Summary Only” mode to view the full system specifications.
If you don’t currently have a dedicated graphics card and your budget is limited, a Ryzen 5 5600G could be a relatively affordable upgrade. It has a much stronger CPU and integrated graphics than the 2200G, although a dedicated GPU would still be better for demanding games and Blender.
Your Biostar B450MHP motherboard may support several newer AM4 processors, but check its CPU support list and BIOS version before buying anything. Also make sure the power supply can handle the planned upgrade, especially if you add a dedicated graphics card.
