I've been using Linux Mint Cinnamon for a little over a year and generally really like it, but recently my AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT has been causing black screens while the system is loading. I tried using an older kernel, but that didn't solve the problem. I'm mainly using the computer for gaming and work, with a little CAD, and I prefer something that works well out of the box. I also like the Cinnamon desktop and would ideally keep a similar interface. Are Fedora, Bazzite, Kubuntu, Zorin, or another distro worth trying?

Fedora is probably worth trying here. It generally ships newer kernels and graphics components than Mint, which may help with a newer AMD card. If you want a gaming-focused setup, Bazzite is another option with a lot of gaming support already configured.
For an easy, general-purpose desktop, Zorin has worked reliably for some people who have had trouble with other distributions. Kubuntu is also worth considering if you are open to KDE, especially for a mix of gaming and productivity, but it will feel different from Cinnamon.
Before switching, keep in mind this may be specific to the 6800 XT rather than Mint itself. A recent AMD kernel or Mesa regression could affect several distributions, so checking the exact driver and graphics stack versions would be useful. Trying a current Fedora-based live USB is a good way to compare without immediately reinstalling.
If Cinnamon is the main thing you want to preserve, look for another distribution that offers Cinnamon instead of changing to a completely different desktop. Fedora or a similar current distribution can still provide a familiar workflow, while newer packages may be better for gaming and newer hardware.
