Hey everyone,
I've been dealing with a really frustrating mouse issue since yesterday. My Razer Naga v2 Pro just starts auto-scrolling in specific programs without any prompt from me. It initially happened while I was playing Summoners War—out of the blue, the mouse scrolls down endlessly. Interestingly, it seems to act fine in my web browser, except when I go to the Windows Sound settings.
Another strange thing is that when I press Ctrl, the mouse zooms out on websites. Here's a rundown of what I've tried to fix this:
- Reverted to the last stable Geforce driver, but it didn't help.
- Switched USB ports multiple times, still no luck.
- Tried a different mouse and the problem was gone.
- Experimented with connection methods (2.4GHz, Bluetooth, USB cable), but nothing changed.
- Restarted my PC a bunch of times, but that didn't work either.
- Reinstalled both old and new drivers from Razer's site, with no effect.
- Ran antivirus software without finding anything suspicious.
Just yesterday, unplugging and replugging seemed to fix it temporarily, but the issue returned without any interventions from my side. I doubt it's a mechanical problem since it doesn't always scroll in every program. The only major change prior to this issue was updating the Geforce driver.
Could this be a Razer Synapse issue? I keep getting prompts about loading cloud vs. local settings for my mouse, but neither changes anything. Any insights would be appreciated!

Just to clarify, when you say it's "scrolling," is the cursor drifting, or is it literally scrolling down like you've got the wheel turned? That's a key detail in figuring this out.
Sounds annoying! I had a similar issue once. It might be worth checking if you have any weird settings enabled in Razer Synapse that could cause this scrolling behavior. Also, sometimes having background applications running can mess with input devices. It's odd that it jumps around specific programs though, but definitely worth looking into those settings.
