Hey everyone! I'm not super tech-savvy and could really use your advice. I haven't used my ASUS UX430U ZenBook for about two years, and it's been quite slow lately—especially on startup and when running programs. It just doesn't feel great to use anymore. Since it's over seven years old, I can't afford a new one, so I'm looking for ways to make it run smoother again. I'm fine with deleting things or resetting it, so any tips on what to do and how to improve its performance would be amazing. Thanks a ton!

First off, I highly recommend upgrading from a traditional mechanical hard drive (HDD) to a solid-state drive (SSD). The last time I used a machine with an HDD, it took an eternity to start up and load stuff, while my SSD system boots in a flash. Also, check for any programs running in the background that you don’t need. You can manage startup programs through the Windows Task Manager—just be careful about what you disable!
That makes total sense! But I thought all laptops came with SSDs nowadays?
