Hey everyone! I live in an apartment where the rent covers the wifi, but I'm having a really frustrating experience gaming online. Even though my internet speed and ping seem fine, I'm dealing with awful jitters during gameplay. I've just learned that my landlord uses access points to manage the internet, but I'm not too sure how that all works. Unfortunately, the landlord also disabled ethernet connections in all apartments, which just adds to my troubles. I'm looking for some insights into what's causing the jitter and if there's anything I can do to fix it. I'm open to questions about my setup or anything else relevant. Thanks in advance for your help! (And sorry if my grammar isn't perfect, I'm not from the USA!)

It sounds like you're sharing a single internet connection with multiple users, which could be the main reason for those jitters. I'd suggest looking into a 4G or 5G broadband connection; they can be pretty reliable these days!
Thanks for the tip! Do you know if getting a 4G connection requires a lot of wiring? I don’t know if my landlord would be okay with that.
