I turned my PC on yesterday, but today it won't power up. I've already reset the CMOS battery and reseated it, but all I see is a light on the front of the case and no other signs of life. I'm using an i7 12700f processor and an RX 580 graphics card. I've ruled out issues with the front panel cables. Any suggestions?

Can you explain how to short the power switch pins? I'm not familiar with the process and I'd like to help out more.
You might want to try shorting the power switch pins on the motherboard directly. Sometimes, a faulty power switch on the case can cause this issue. Just take a screwdriver and briefly touch the two pins for the power switch to see if it boots up.
I appreciate the suggestions! I'll give that a shot and let you know how it goes.
